Celebrating Father's Day & Summer Solstice

!
Happy Father's Day
& Summer Solstice

Hi Everyone,

We are midway into June. Summer is here! It is nice to see everyone coming out of their caves, riding bicycles, playing tennis, golf and so many other sports Yes, pool included which is where I dive almost in every day to refresh from the heat.

The heat is really on sometimes. The sun is flaming strong these days warming us sometimes more than we'd like. Sometimes it feels like we are about to melt. In some places the temperature is rising over one hundred degrees Fahrenheit, 38 degrees C.

That is why a good splash in a cool lake, the ocean or a pool can be so inviting even an ice-cold shower is soothing when it is the only thing available.

How is your Summer getting started?

We are also celebrating Father's Day this month. What are you doing to celebrate this time? Whether you are a father yourself and/or are celebrating your father. What are ways you feel that you can honor him and yourself and all the beautiful children you have brought up?

My father is almost 92 years old and recently became an author. It is a privilege to still have him with us and we are going to go to his favorite restaurant to celebrate him. He gave us the best of possible lives, I feel blessed to have had such an amazing upbringing filled wiht opportunities to grow. Some not so easy and others very enticing.

One of these opportunities has been to develop my art, I am still working on the illustrations for my upcoming book. Here are the two latest paintings that will be used as illustrations. Still another 12 to go.

Celebrating Summer Solstice

Also, on June 20-21st we are celebrating the Summer Solstice, which is the longest day of the year, when the sun shines bright to the wee hours of the night.  Everything is blooming and thriving, even the light within us is knocking for us to open the door of our hearts more and allow the light to shine further.

"The Summer Solstice holds deep spiritual significance, representing the triumph of light over darkness and the peak of solar energy. It is a time for celebrating abundance, growth, and inner illumination. The solstice encourages us to embrace our own radiance, align with the transformative power of the sun, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual awakening." ~ Wisdom of the Spirit

Here is a beautiful meditation to align with the Summer Solstice.

Lastly, I am excited to share that this past week I finally opened my physical practice and had my first in person client on Wednesday 11th, on the Strawberry Full Moon.

It was so nice to be working on people in person once more. The session went exceptionally well, and the client was well pleased.  There are several appointments set up for this new upcoming week. Yay!

Moreover, sessions online via Zoom are just as powerful, fun and healing and are available worldwide. Book your session today.

As much as I enjoy creating them, I am considering letting go of writing my newsletter.  I feel from my heart that perhaps not many people read it. Please kindly let me know your thoughts, if you would like. I would very much appreciate it.

Even though being positive is considered valuable and what is expected of us, I feel that more importantly it is to be authentic and to feel and express your feelings in a way that is healing. How are you truly feeling right now?

Connect with your heart, feel it, honor it and if there is something that needs to be said or expressed, do so. If it is not possible to do it in a direct way, write about it, scream it out, dancing it through, let those tears tickle down your cheeks, but don't keep it inside. Honor how you feel and free yourself.  Then do something that will make you feel good or better. Honesty is the best policy.

Let me know how your summer is going thus far?
I would love to hear from you.

Happy Father's  Day
& Summer Solstice

Qualifying for the Olympics

QUALIFYING for the OLYMPICS Here's to Sports The Olympics have brought many memories to my mind, which was one of the best periods of my life, when I was a swimmer. In 1975 I qualified to go to the Olympics in Canada the following year 1976. (Mark Spitz time) I still remember when I received that phone call. I believe it was a phone call or a telegram but I'm very sure. I really think it was a phone call where I was told that I was the only swimmer who had qualified to go to the Olympics in Canada in 1976. My circumstances did not allow me to go at the time. I started swimming when I was young but didn't swim competitively in a more serious way, until I was 12 years old. I used to do meets in school and Country Club etc. Then, my mother did not know what to do with me because I was so hyperactive, and she decided to join me in a swim team. I remember that day clearly, when I arrived at the Olympic pool that was 50 meters long and stepped into a circle of all the res...

CELEBRATING 42 Years of Life

Celebrating 42 years Swiss Alps ~ Groenenbach, Allgau Today is my 42nd Anniversary. I remember clearly 42 years ago yesterday when I arrived to the most amazing healing clinic in Grönenbach , Allgäu, Germany. My battle with alcohol had come to an end and I was ready to change my life. However, I arrived to Munich three days prior to entering the clinic. Immediately I thought I do not have a problem since I was sitting in with new friends from Argentina with 7 whiskeys in front of me and I was not drunk. Nevertheless, 3 days later I found myself in great need of help. I was wondering where I was going to land, since I had had been in other not so pleasant places before seeking help. To my surprise this place was heaven on Earth. I arrived in the most expensive taxi, I have ever paid in my entire life, since I had missed the last train from Munich to Groenenbach. A kind gentleman in his forties, received me with a smile on his face and said, "Ich bin deinen Patin," (I am yo...

Celebrating May & Mother's Day

Celebrating May & Mother's Day   It's May already. We are almost halfway into the year. Can you believe it? Time flies by.  Everything is fully blooming right now, offering us an array  of  bright and beautiful colors in a diversity of shapes and forms.  Nature can truly be mesmerizing and enchanting. This is the month we celebrate Mother's Day. In Guatemala it is always celebrated on the 10th of May regardless of the day it falls  in . In the US it is held on the second Sunday in May,  which is this coming Sunday May 11th. This day and perhaps every day  it   is important and valuable to celebrate our mothers who gave us life.  Life blesses me with an  incredible mother. Even though many times throughout life we had our differences.  S h e was quite a remarkable woma n  sand wish I would've gotten to know her better. I really miss her sometimes. Many times she comes to me in my dreams. So...
