Hi Everyone,

Fall is kicking its way in, turning trees and weather into a different direction. Gently but slowly, tree leaves are transforming into their amalgamation of yellows, oranges & reds, while the weather is brrrrly becoming colder. We have had a lot of rain here non-stop. Feels like England weather. How is it where you are?

We are stepping into Autumn equinox today. The beginning of Fall as mentioned previously. It is my second most favorite time of the year, with Spring being the first. What is your favorite time of the year? What good memories does it bring? 

These days between the change of weather, the full moon coming up and all the changes happening in the world, can make you feel a bit upside down.


It will soon turn around

I don't know how Summer speeded through, but I have not had much time for painting. This month, my main focus has been on recreating my website and working on my third book.

The editor that had offered to review and edit my book has dropped out. His own personal dreams are coming to fruition, and I am happy for him.

However, the project has been delayed. My hope was to have had it published by November ~ aiming for February now.  Unless a true miracle happens and it still can. Yet I have learned that when something does not take its place, something better and brighter is on its way for everyone involved...

Celebrating Autumn Equinox
 
Today we are celebrating Autumn Equinox, the first day of Fall in the Northern Hemisphere. A time to start anew and leave all those old shoes behind. How are you clearing your own space? My invitation is to go through your kitchen cabinets, rooms and several closets and get rid of what you no longer need or have used within a year. One small space at time.

Take a look at your walls. How long have those paintings, decorations been there? Maybe things can be moved around, or new additions can be brought in to make your space happier, lighter and livelier. You can even choose a corner, remove all items, dust clean and perky it up, then put everything right back as it was.

You will feel a positive shift of energy. Try it! I did with a corner bookshelf. What a difference!

This is a time when slowly the nights become longer, a time to reflect in what has been harvested in our lives thus far.  A time to slow down and not push, review, clear, let go and rest. What are your plans for this Fall?

Lastly, the next Full Moon will be on September 26th, the energies are becoming increasingly intense, if you feel dizzy at times make sure you ground yourself by placing your feet on the ground and your back to a wall until it passes or walk barefoot on the grass. You can also celebrate the Harvest Full Moon by breathing deeply, lighting up a candle, putting on some nice, pleasant music. Relax and open to receive the moons beautiful powerful healing light.

Tribute to My Mother

Tribute to My Mother Helen Eileen Overa Thompson de Brose My mother and I...  the Beginning It's been 2 years today July 21st, since my mother passed away, Helen Eileen Overa Thompson de Brose. I will never forget that day. she had been in a nursing home for quite some time due to dealing with dementia and other issues. the last years I had spent time every week doing video calls with her through Zoom, and I used to sing to her "Over the Rainbow" every time, her favorite song. She many times responded with tears in her eyes, saying, "it's so nice." Thank goodness she was always cognitive, you could have a wonderful conversation with her and it was always pleasant to talk to her, all the way to the end.  However, she did not remember who you were sometimes or where she was or what she was doing. Celebrating 43 Years of Life

    Celebrating 43 years Swiss Alps ~ Groenenbach, Allgau Today is my 43rd Anniversary. I remember clearly 43 years ago yesterday when I arrived to the most amazing healing clinic in Grönenbach , Allgäu, Germany. My battle with alcohol had come to an end and I was ready to change my life. However, I arrived to Munich three days prior to entering the clinic. Immediately I thought I do not have a problem since I was sitting in with new friends from Argentina with 7 whiskeys in front of me and I was not drunk. Nevertheless, 3 days later I found myself in great need of help. I was wondering where I was going to land, since I had had been in other not so pleasant places before seeking help. To my surprise this place was heaven on Earth. I arrived in the most expensive taxi, I have ever paid in my entire life, since I had missed the last train from Munich to Groenenbach.
