Happy Father's Day
& Summer Solstice

Hi Everyone,

We are now way into June, the sixth month of the year. Time has flown in and Summer has landed. Interestingly enough, the weather here has been 'herrlich' - Divine! It has been in the seventies all this week and will continue to be so this coming week. The air has been fresh and crisp. It has been so delightful. How is it where you are?

Summer is here!! The flowers are shining their colors more than ever and rabbits and their baby rabbits are hopping around in the gardens.  Different color butterflies are making their appearances. It's so nice to see kids and parents in their bicycles, kids playing outdoor baseball and other sports. The pool has finally opened and has been so much fun. I swam in the lake the other day and had the gift of 28 geese with their goslings swimming in front of me in a parade. It was so lovely and magical!

Get out in nature this Summer

This is the month that we celebrate Father's Day which this year happens to fall right on Summer Solstice. What a nice double celebration!

It is so important to celebrate our father. Many of them have had a difficult role to fill. Especially those from an older Generation. My father will soon turn 93. He has led a great life. He gave us the best of lives. He truly did, with all of his heart, the best he could in every way. I know that now. It was not always easy. Sometimes it still isn't. But I know I love him dearly and that he has been a good father.

Our differences will always prevail and today I know that to be okay. Let him be him and let me be me and that works really well. How has it been with your father?

Many people no longer have their fathers with them. May they be remembered with fondness and love.

If your father is still alive, call him, send him a letter, a gift, say hello. We never truly know what they have been through in all of their lives. Give him a chance. Embrace him.

On another note, I still continue to paint and started working on my third book, more about it later. What plans do you have for this Summer?

Here is my only art piece I made this month with one that was sold recently.

Celebrating Summer Solstice.

This Sunday June 21st we are also celebrating Summer Solstice. The beginning of a new season, the beginning of Summer in the northern Hemisphere and winter in the Southern Hemisphere. Every change of season brings with it a change of atmosphere, a change of energy... a shift. That shift not only happens in the 'outside' it also happens within us. It creates a change and adaptation in every level, physically, emotionally and mentally. How are we going to navigate those changes? How are we going to readapt?

Many of us are feeling the immense changes that are taking place globally. Some of these can feel very heavy and extremely draining, while other can truly uplift us. This is a good time to do a ritual to celebrate life and SHIFT our focus into what uplifts us. Although the mind tends to sometimes wonder into old habits and negativity, afraid of the worst scenario, we are in charge of our minds and can let those thoughts ride, move on, then focus on what we really want to experience. Sometimes we can't do this by changing the thoughts alone. It helps to change an activity. Go for a walk, watch a fun happy movie, call a friend. What would make me feel good right now? What would feel good to my soul? and do that.

The energies that are coming in continue to increase in strength. Showers and showers of light are coming in pouring into this earth for the Light to triumph. And it is winning the race even though it does not feel that way sometimes. Everything needs to fall apart in order to be rebuilt with a new base. A base filled with love, respect and joy for all beings. Keep the focus on the Light. Embrace your journey and keep the Faith.
Here are some fun meditations that can be helpful in these times in the link below.

Celebrating Father's Day & Summer Solstice

! Happy Father's Day & Summer Solstice   Hi Everyone,   We are midway into June. Summer is here! It is nice to see everyone coming out of their caves, riding bicycles, playing tennis, golf and so many other sports Yes, pool included which is where I dive almost in every day to refresh from the heat.  The heat is really on sometimes. The sun is flaming strong these days warming us sometimes more than we'd like. Sometimes it feels like we are about to melt. In some places the temperature is rising over one hundred degrees Fahrenheit, 38 degrees C.     That is why a good splash in a cool lake, the ocean or a pool can be so inviting even an ice-cold shower is soothing when it is the only thing available.   How is your Summer getting started? We are also celebrating Father's Day this month. What are you doing to celebrate this time? Whether you are a father yourself and/or are celebrating your father. What are ways you feel th...

Tribute to My Mother

Tribute to My Mother Helen Eileen Overa Thompson de Brose My mother and I...  the Beginning It's been 2 years today July 21st, since my mother passed away, Helen Eileen Overa Thompson de Brose. I will never forget that day. she had been in a nursing home for quite some time due to dealing with dementia and other issues. the last years I had spent time every week doing video calls with her through Zoom, and I used to sing to her "Over the Rainbow" every time, her favorite song. She many times responded with tears in her eyes, saying, "it's so nice." Thank goodness she was always cognitive, you could have a wonderful conversation with her and it was always pleasant to talk to her, all the way to the end.  However, she did not remember who you were sometimes or where she was or what she was doing. She forgot everything that had happened a moment ago.  I also tried to call her every other day and just tell her that I loved her and would also sing to her over the...

Celebrating 43 Years of Life

Celebrating 43 years Swiss Alps ~ Groenenbach, Allgau Today is my 43rd Anniversary. I remember clearly 43 years ago yesterday when I arrived to the most amazing healing clinic in Grönenbach , Allgäu, Germany. My battle with alcohol had come to an end and I was ready to change my life. However, I arrived to Munich three days prior to entering the clinic. Immediately I thought I do not have a problem since I was sitting in with new friends from Argentina with 7 whiskeys in front of me and I was not drunk. Nevertheless, 3 days later I found myself in great need of help. I was wondering where I was going to land, since I had had been in other not so pleasant places before seeking help. To my surprise this place was heaven on Earth. I arrived in the most expensive taxi, I have ever paid in my entire life, since I had missed the last train from Munich to Groenenbach. A kind gentleman in his forties, received me with a smile on his face and said, "Ich bin deinen Patin," (I am ...
